About

My name is Kaahan Agarwal

I'm a teenager passionate about solving real-world problems through innovation. After working with university professors, I developed Aqua Shuddh—a sustainable, low-cost water filter for rural communities. Backed by a design patent and research publication, I'm committed to making clean water accessible, affordable, and eco-friendly for every household.

Our Story

The idea for Aqua Shuddh was born during a rural trip to Kutchh, Gujarat, where I lived with local communities for a week. During my stay, I saw how families relied on unfiltered well water for drinking and cooking—water that was often visibly contaminated. What deeply impacted me was not just the poor water quality, but the lack of affordable and reliable filtration solutions. Most existing systems were either too costly, wasted water, or required electricity that wasn’t always available. I came back with a mission: to build something simple, sustainable, and designed for real rural needs. Aqua Shuddh purifies water without wasting it, retains essential minerals, and works with minimal electricity. It’s more than just a filter—it’s a commitment to safer water and healthier lives in India’s underserved communities.
